Jason Stauffer, Case Supervisor
Education: Master’s of Science in Education at the City University of New York at Hunter College
Professional Experience: Jason entered the field of special education in 2011 as a classroom assistant at a school for children with special needs in Brooklyn, New York, while working towards his Early Childhood/Special Education teacher’s certifications. Upon graduating, Jason moved into a teaching position in that same school where he was first introduced to the concepts and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2013, Jason brought his understanding of those concepts and principles with him to his new position as an elementary school special education teacher in the NYC public school system. In 2014, Jason entered the field of in-home Early Intervention Services as a part-time direct services provider, and he moved into full-time direct services and lead teacher position in 2016 as he continued to complete coursework towards certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Jason passed his certification exam in March of 2018, and, 6 months later, became a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Connecticut where he now provides services as a Case Supervisor.
